This site went live just three days ago, and I am thrilled by all the traffic it is receiving! Thank you all for your interest in this project.
It’s a snowy/freezing-rainy long weekend Friday here in Ottawa, Canada, but things are supposed to be warming up Saturday & Sunday, and I am hopeful that spring will soon be here.
It seems that spring has already reached many American visitors to this site (lucky!). I’ve received trout lily reports from Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. What better way to spend a long weekend than by taking friends, families, dogs, or anyone else who will join you out for a walk in the woods to enjoy the wildflowers? If you see trout lily, please be sure to check out its pollen, and report your observations.
For those of us still waiting, here’s an inspirational photo taken at the Springwater Conservation Area, just outside Aylmer Ontario, on May 1 2015.
